Around weight per meter — the core process indicator — we provide a complete solution that runs from signal acquisition and gravimetric weighing conversion through to closed-loop control and data logging. Our products use a touchscreen HMI as their carrier, are deployed on the extrusion line itself, and work together with the main drive, the haul-off and other sections.
Our way of working is fairly direct: first we go on site to see how the line actually behaves, then we decide where the measurement points go and how the control parameters are tuned, and finally we bring the system to a state it can hold stably over the long term. Looking good on a parameter sheet does not count; holding steady on the shop floor does.

Our control strategy aims at long-term stability rather than a fast short-term response. We would rather converge a little more slowly than oscillate up and down the line because of overshoot.
